12v Spot Sprayer Comparison
A 12v spot sprayer runs off your vehicle or deep cycle battery, so there is no engine to start, fuel or service. It suits ATVs, utes, UTVs and trailers for weed control. This page compares our 12v spot sprayer ranges so you can choose the right tank, pump and hose.
Which should you choose?
- Home gardens and small blocks: RapidLine 57L or 95L. Low cost, clear tank and easy to store.
- ATV racks and small properties: WeedControl 55L or 95L. Compact, with a stronger 8.3L/min pump option.
- Paddocks and fence lines: Spot Ranger 60L or 95L. Australian made tank with a 15 year warranty.
- Swapping chemicals: RapidMix. A separate chemical tank mixes at the gun.
- Long runs on a ute or UTV: Strike 200L or 400L, or ReelStrike with a 30m reel. Larger tanks and a 100psi Remco pump.
- Side by side trays: WeedControl 150L or 225L skid mount. A steel skid holds the tank steady.

Prices are the lowest price in each range. Options such as booms and pump upgrades change the final price.
RapidLine
The best value 12v spot sprayer in the range. A translucent tank shows your mix level, triple filtration reduces blocked nozzles, and a 2 year extendable warranty is included.
WeedControl
TTi WeedControl is a compact range from 55L to 225L. Pick the PowerJet model for regular use and boom upgrades, or the lance model for small jobs. Skid mount versions suit UTV and side by side trays.
Spot Ranger
An Australian made UV stabilised tank with a 15 year warranty and a Powerjet pistol grip gun. The HP model has a lower cost 6.8L/min pump. The standard model has an 8.3L/min Delavan pump.
RapidMix
Clean tank technology with a separate chemical tank and seven mixing rate settings. It mixes as the liquid leaves the gun, so you avoid messy pre mixing and can switch chemicals easily.
Strike and ReelStrike
TTi Strike carries 200L or 400L on a hot dip galvanised frame with a Remco pump under a cover. ReelStrike adds a 30m hose reel to the same tank and pump. A Versatile 1.2m boom with a 4m swath can be added.
Check your vehicle first
- Tank weight: 1 litre of spray mix weighs about 1kg. A full 200L tank adds roughly 200kg plus the unit.
- Load limit: Check your ute, ATV or UTV rating before you choose a tank size.
- Power: You need a 12 volt supply, such as a vehicle or deep cycle battery.
- Trailer option: Want to tow it instead? See our weed sprayer trailer comparison.
12v Spot Sprayer FAQ
What is a 12v spot sprayer?
A tank with a 12 volt pump that runs off your vehicle or a battery. You spray through a gun or lance without hand pumping.
How big a tank do I need?
For gardens and small blocks, 55L to 95L is usually enough. For fence lines and paddocks, 200L or more means fewer refills.
Can I add a boom?
Yes, on many models. WeedControl takes 2m, 3m or 4m boom kits, and Strike and ReelStrike take a Versatile 1.2m boom with a 4m swath. Contact us and we can match a boom to your pump.
Is a 12v sprayer strong enough for tough weeds?
Yes, for spot spraying. For long hoses, heavy growth or large booms, a petrol powered unit gives more flow and pressure. See our UTV and ATV sprayer comparison.
Can I spray chemicals through these units?
Yes, for herbicides, pesticides and liquid fertilisers. Check chemical compatibility and follow the product label.
