Description

800L FirePatrol15 Firefighting Trailer

The 800L FirePatrol15 is the lightest single axle model in TTi's FirePatrol15 range, built for smaller properties. It's available in two configurations: On Farm, with the GX200 Honda motor and twin impeller Davey pump, or Road Registerable, fitted with lights, hydraulic override brakes, a GX160 Honda motor and 2 inch pump with front & rear pump plate for towing on public roads.

Features, Benefits & Outcomes

  • An 800 litre tank gives you a solid first-response reserve without the extra towed weight of the larger single axle models.
  • The On Farm configuration's GX200 Honda motor and twin impeller Davey pump push considerably more pressure than a basic single-cylinder setup, so the hose reel doesn't lose punch over distance.
  • A 36 metre hose reel with adjustable nozzle means you can work a fire line from one position instead of repositioning the trailer every few metres.
  • Leaf suspension and Landcruiser hub pattern wheels keep the unit stable on farm tracks and paddocks, not just sealed driveways.
  • The Safety Ball Baffle system stops the water surging inside the tank under braking or on uneven ground, which keeps towing predictable even close to full.

800L FirePatrol15 Firefighting Trailer FAQ

What's the difference between the On Farm and Road Registerable options?

Beyond the lights and hydraulic override brakes fitted to the Road Registerable option for legal road towing, this particular 800L model also pairs that configuration with a different engine and pump (a GX160 motor and 2 inch pump, versus the On Farm version's GX200 motor and twin impeller pump). Select your preferred configuration above.

Is 800 litres enough for a typical rural block?

It depends on your property and what you're protecting, but 800L is a popular choice for smaller acreages or as a lighter-towing option where you don't need the full 1200L capacity. If you're unsure, give us a call and we can talk through what's typically recommended for your block size.

What's the difference between this and the FirePatrol14 range?

The FirePatrol15 uses 15 inch Landcruiser hub pattern wheels and (in the On Farm configuration) a stronger GX200 motor and twin impeller pump, compared to the FirePatrol14's GX160 motor and 14 inch Ford hub pattern wheels. It's the newer, higher-output line.

How do I refill the tank once it's empty?

The trailer comes with a bottom fill kit and camlock fittings, so you can refill quickly from a dam, rainwater tank or hydrant.
