Will a 600 litre unit fit on a ute tray?
At full capacity this is a heavier unit, so check your ute or trailer's payload rating against the tank, engine, pump and full 600 litres of water before fitting.
Can I use my firefighting unit for other tasks?
Yes absolutely! We encourage the use of other jobs like dust suppression, water cartage and spraying and more.
How do I refill the tank in the field?
The tank can be refilled from any static water source, dam or tank using the fire hose in reverse, or by gravity fill through the lid.
What maintenance does the pump need?
The Davey twin impellor pump should be flushed with clean water after use in dirty or salty water and checked periodically for wear at the impellor and seals.
