The FireAttack Deluxe 400L short is a fully drainable slip-on unit built around a Honda GX200 engine and Davey twin impellor pump. What makes this a "Deluxe" unit compared to FireCombat or FireGuard?
The Deluxe range adds a pressure relief valve, bottom fill kit and fully drainable tank with baffle system, on top of a larger Honda GX200 engine and twin impellor pump.
What does "fully drainable" mean?
The tank is designed to empty completely with no residual pooling, making it easier to clean, service or change over between different liquids.
How does the bottom fill kit work?
The bottom fill kit lets you refill the tank through a low level fitting connected to a dam, tank or hydrant, rather than lifting the lid and filling from the top.
What maintenance does the pump need?
The Davey twin impellor pump should be flushed with clean water after use in dirty or salty water and checked periodically for wear at the impellor and seals.
